Rock Eagle 4-H Center


Offering Educational Programs including residential field study experiences, day use and low ropes course/teambuilding. Rock Eagle was built in the 1950s as a State 4-H site. The Environmental Education Program began at Rock Eagle in 1979. The site has a unique rock eagle effigy mound, beautiful forests and lake habitats, 54 cottages, educational buildings, large dining hall, auditorium, and a natural history museum.

Academic, interdisciplinary, hands-on classes focus on Ecology, Living History, Outdoor Skills and Team Building. Classes utilize the outdoors as a dynamic living laboratory for learning.
