Mission
The Jekyll Island 4-H Center is operated by the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension. There are five 4-H facilities throughout the state promoting education of Georgia's natural resources. Jekyll Island 4-H Center serves approximately 12,000 students every year with our environmental education program focusing on marine science and coastal ecology.

Cost of Programs/Admission
The Jekyll Island 4-H Center offers Environmental Education programs throughout the school year. Currently, our most popular program is a 3 day- 2 night field study that includes 12 classes and 7 meals. All our programs meet Georgia's Performance Standards, so each day here is considered a day in school and no classroom time is lost.

Features
We teach our classes in the outdoor classroom, we are situated between the beach and the maritime forest and are just a short drive from the salt marsh.

Accessibility
We have four dorm rooms that are accessible as is our dining hall facility.

Additional
Each August we open our reservation books for the following school year. You must call early to get your dates!
