Chattahoochee Nature Center

Founded in 1976, the Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC) is located on the Chattahoochee River in North Fulton County. The staff and board of directors of this non-profit organization are focused on interpreting the wildlife and plants along the Chattahoochee River and surrounding areas through programs and exhibits. The CNC is well known throughout metro Atlanta for its professional environmental education programs, wildlife rehabilitation clinic, attractive facilities, and the Nature Store gift shop. The 10,000 sq. ft., LEED-certified Discovery Center serves as the Interpretative Center for the Chattahoochee River. Filled with minds-on, hands-on exhibits, the center is a regional travel destination.
