EE Alliance of Georgia Conference - Call for Proposals Presentation proposals are now being accepted for the Environmental Education Alliance (EEA)of Georgia's 2011 conference. Proposals should address either the environment, economy, or community. The online submission deadline is September 14, 2010. $1,000 Scholarships for 2011 Monarchs in Mexico Trips Monarchs Across Georgia, a committee of the Environmental Education Alliance (EEA) of Georgia, is offering two $1,000 scholarships to Georgia educators (formal or informal) to travel to the monarch butterfly overwintering sites in Mexico in February 2011. Applications are due October 15, 2010. Climate Change Webinars for Teachers Join Windows to the Universe educators this fall for free 90-minute live seminars highlighting science content and classroom activities on topics related to climate change. Offered through the National Science Teachers Association, these seminars are a part of the NASA-funded Global Climate Change Educator Professional Development Network.
