Mission
Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) is dedicated to education, dissemination of technical and scientific information, increased public understanding, and promotion of sound public laws and programs in the water resources and related environmental fields.

Cost of Programs/Admission
GAWP's Science Teacher Workshop is offered to professional educators on an annual basis. The costs for conducting this training is primarily covered by GAWP corporate and municipal supporters. The fee for attendance is kept at a minimum ($25-30 per person).

Features
This training includes hands-on practice with at least three different environmental curricula over a two-day program. Attendees leave with all materials necessary to duplicate this training in their own classrooms. Material utilized in the past includes Project WET, Conserve Water, the Water Sourcebook, WET in the City, and GAWP's Water Why's. Participants leave with full copies of all material used.
