Carved out of the rolling wooded hills of North Georgia, the Cornerstone Schools' campus has been planned to utilize its 18 acres to best advantage for our students. The Cornerstone school buildings were built and furnished with successful learning in mind. Classrooms and hallways are carpeted to minimize noise. Natural light is available in each classroom to minimize glare and eye strain from florescent lighting. Trees surround the buildings to provide a bird’s eye view of nature right from the classroom. Green plants are found throughout the building to aid in air quality.
Cornerstone collects plastic, tin, cell phones (for Family Haven), household batteries, ink and toner cartridges, paper, magazines and newspaper for recycling. The school had taken major steps to reduce it's use of paper by posting school notifications online and keeping bins classrooms for scrap paper for use by students.
