Life of the Forest

International Paper offers free "Life of the Forest" educational materials for use by teachers to help promote a better understanding of the natural cycle of forests.

The complete set of materials contains 10 full-color, full-size posters showing various stages in the life of a forest; 10 matching teaching guides with in-depth information; and a 16 page booklet depicting the cycles and stages of forests. Topics range from how seeds are scattered and eventually germinate, to how a tree grows, to conservation issues.
